Red

Underground Productions  third production of 2009, Red, a modern musical based loosely on the tale of Little Red Riding Hood. Directed by Richard Doyle, assisted by Joe Sherlock, Red features a combination of fairy tale, pop culture references, and many sexual innuendos, giving the audience a choice of how they’d like to see the story unfold!

Red has been asked by her parents to take some whiskey and baguettes for her Grandmother (for her rheumatism and “lunch”). On her adventures, Red encounters a prince, a wolf, punked-up fairy tale characters, pirates, ninjas… and whores! From a Brothel! You must see it, you have no choice here! (except the ones within the play, of course…!)
